Kacey McCarthy joined the Lost & Found Board of Directors in 2018. She serves as the Project and Brand Director at Maximizing Excellence, LLC where they focus on partnering with organizations who want to improve their effectiveness to achieve high impact. Kacey brings to the L&F Board many years of fundraising and volunteer management experience.
“I believe addressing and acknowledging the pressures that young adults face is so important for their success in life. Through Lost & Found, those dealing with mental health issues are provided with a support system and a community where they can feel confident and comfortable being themselves.”
Kacey is a Sioux Falls native, graduating from Washington High School and attending Southeast Technical Institute. Kacey is passionate about the community and providing opportunities for all. She has been a volunteer coach for Girls on the Run, was a mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sioux Empire, served as part of a mentor team through the Genesis program, and has helped to coordinate Henry’s Run, an annual 5K for child abuse prevention since 2012.
