Brave: A Journey from Darkness into Light
This concert will be performed by the Rainbow Chorus of Sioux Falls. A free-will donation will benefit Lost&Found.
Brave: A Journey from Darkness into Light will chronicle through music the struggle of the LGBTQIA2S+ community for acceptance through the decades as well as how personal journeys have mirrored the same struggle. Beginning with music expressing a sense of discouragement, despair and loss, then moving on to selections that express the gratitude of those who have stood by the LGBTQIA2S+ community, followed by pieces that express the joy that people can experience once they have moved past the fear of rejection and retribution and coming to the realization that they are fearfully and wonderfully made and can live our lives to the fullest!
Join us on Wednesday, June 5th, at 7:00 p.m. at Spirit of Peace. Free-will donations will be accepted, and there are no tickets required to purchase. Half of the free-will donations collected during the event will go towards Lost&Found’s vital cause.
