Program Manager - Student Programs
Carrie served as an advisor of the South Dakota State University Lost&Found Chapter from 2018 – 2021. Throughout that time, she noticed students needed more opportunities to connect with their peers in order to develop a sense of belonging at their university. In 2021, she successfully piloted the Peer2Peer Mentorship Program at SDSU and is now excited to expand the program to other universities across South Dakota and Minnesota.
Carrie earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South Dakota State University in 2016. She has experience providing counseling services in community and college settings. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She greatly enjoys supporting college students as they navigate young adulthood, advocating for underrepresented populations, and helping others live authentically as they work toward their goals.
Carrie lives in a small community outside of Brookings, SD with her spouse, Craig. Carrie enjoys playing board games, crocheting, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
