Gesine Ziebarth, PhD

Research & Evaluation Manager

Gesine joined the Lost&Found team in April 2021 to help advance research and evaluation efforts for the organization as well as external partners. She earned an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Human Factors psychology from the University of South Dakota with an emphasis on cognition (decision-making) and has several years of experience working as an evaluator on a variety of grants that focused on health and education.

Gesine especially cares about clear communication of research and evaluation findings, including effective data visualizations, that empowers stakeholders of varied backgrounds to draw their own conclusions and translate them into actionable insights. She is excited to work with an inspiring team to help build resilience in young people in the state of South Dakota and beyond.

Gesine grew up in Munich, Germany, and lives with her family in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
