Genvaveve Thompson

Program Associate

Genaveve Thomson has joined Lost&Found as a part-time Program Associate. She will work with Senior Prevention Specialist Corey Kennedy in the Black Hills area.

Genaveve graduated from Black Hills State University in May 2023 with a degree in Human Services. She is now attending the University of South Dakota to obtain a master’s in social work. Genaveve joined the Lost&Found program as a mentor in the Peer2Peer program on the BHSU campus and is excited to continue not only as a mentor but also now as an intern with the program.

Genaveve lives in Spearfish, SD with her youngest son, and her 2 dogs and 2 cats. She enjoys taking care of plants, playing board games, crocheting, reading, hiking, biking, and spending time with family and friends.
