Lost&Found is hiring for a development director

Lost&Found is seeking applicants for the newly created role of development director. The person hired for this position will lead fundraising efforts, donor relations, and event planning to support Lost&Found’s mission.

“Developing and maintaining relationships with supporters is vital to ensuring that Lost&Found has the resources to do its work of building resilience and preventing suicide,” said Lost&Found Board Chair Jerry Cook. “We are looking for a person who is eager to build these relationships as part of a comprehensive fundraising plan.”

Hiring for a development director position is a shift in strategy for Lost&Found. Last year, the organization was seeking an executive director who would lead both programming and fundraising. In this new leadership search, the board split those functions into two roles so that a dedicated development director could more directly focus on fundraising.

Qualifications for the development director position include a bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, or a related field, as well as five years of relevant experience. A full job description and a link to apply can be found here. A review of applications will begin March 24, 2025.
